As residents of Kabete constituency and the nation at large struggle to come to terms with the brutal murder of Kabete MP George Muchai, his driver and two body guards, questions are arising on the efficiency of the integrated security system in Nairobi that has surveillance cameras.
This even as police sources indicate that investigating officers are analysing the CCTV footage of the incident as it unfolded. But the question on many lips is whether officers manning the command centre connected to CCTV cameras in the CCTV could have acted faster in trying to apprehend the killers of the MP and his aides given their technological advantage.
