We regret to announce the death of Duncan Mwangi Thuo that occurred on Wed. July 26, 2017 at Lowell General Hospital, Lowell, MA. He was husband to Mrs. Agnes Muthoni Mwangi of P.C.E.A IMANI CHURCH. Father to James Thuo and Faith N. Maina of Kenya, Josphat K.Mwangi and Mary Kamau of P.C.E.A IMANI CHURCH, Gladys Njeri of Kenya, Janet Muchoki and Danson Muchoki of P.C.E.A NEEMA CHURCH, Ephantus N. Mwangi of Kenya, Isabel Mwangi and Benson Chege, Earnest Mwangi and Lucy Githaiga of CALVARY EVANGELICAL CHURCH, Keziah W. Mwangi of Kenya, Helen Mwangi and Wilson Kahunyo of ASSEMBLY OF GOD CHURCH and Phyllis W. Mwangi of Kenya.
The late Duncan was born at Gitugi Location, Mathioya Division in Murang’a County. Daily prayer meetings are being held at one of his son’s residence, 56 Tilton Street, Lowell, MA.
A Memorial service will be held on Sunday August 6, 2017 at 3.00 pm. The venue will be announced soon. The Wake will be on Monday, August 7, 2017 from 4pm to 8.00pm.
The late Mr. Duncan Mwangi will be transported to Kenya to be buried at his home in Gitugi. 13 members of the family will accompany the body for burial. Keep this family in your prayers. Mr. Duncan Mwangi Thuo was 87 years old when the Lord called him home.
“Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on. ‘Yes’, says the Spirit, ‘they are blessed indeed, for they will rest from their hard work; for their good deeds follow them” (Rev. 14:13).

There will be a memorial at PCEA neema church lowell 201 coburn st lowell.on Sunday 6th at 3 pm. Followed by wake. The following day 7th at Morse -Baylis funeral home ( 122 Princeton blvd lowell starting 4pm -8pm.
