St John’s Anglican Church in Sutton Massachusetts scoops top Position at New England Music Festival

To the committee and pastors of N E M F. (New England Music Festival 2018 ), thank you so much for organizing such wonderful Music festival every year and giving these churches an opportunity to perform and have fun.

We Anglican churches in New England love to come together to worship God in music. Thanks so much for the support and encouragement you’ve given us.

Thank you once again for hosting such a wonderful event that brought together so many people who share the common love of music , singing and dancing unto our mighty God .

Thank you so much for your financial support through your registration fee. I feel greatly honored to have been chosen the chairman of this very unifying annual event. I am very excited and humbled by the attendance this year, close to six hundred people attended the festival this year.

This attendance shows how much the Kenyan community has matured in their pursuit of unity.  This high number of people who attended our festival this year gave the organizing committee a new challenge but wonderful and amazing experience in getting a hall to accommodate these people during our music festival.

Controlling the more than 100 children and equal number of youth downstairs became the greatest challenge. Thanks to all the ushers and our master of ceremony Mr. Samuel Mbugua assisted by Mr. John Kagacha our secretary and the committee members for doing a good job downstairs.

We are appealing to churches that have not joined the festival this year to consider registering with the secretary for 2019 competitions. For all the people who joined us in our festival I request you as you go about your business to look for a big hall that can accommodate between 600 and 1000 people, good parking and rooms for our kids.  We need to start now.

As i conclude I want to say that it was such a privilege to get such amazing adjudicators and a recorder. These men did a commendable job. This year competitions were very high with new church members giving old church members a big challenge. As we expect more churches to join us next year it is our prayers that God will give us a good venue to accommodate our people and also we should consider changing the time and also the day so that we can have ample time.

Congratulations to the winners st John Anglican Church in Sutton Massachusetts.

Ven.  Samuel Kimohu- Event Chairman
