Other accolades include being a community leader, an entrepreneur, a public speaker, a philanthropist, an evangelist at heart who preaches the word of God without compromising. He is currently the Senior Pastor of St. Andrews International Christian Community Anglican Episcopal Church (I.C.C.A.E.C.) Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A.

Rev. John is a man of foresight. His leadership genius has been noted in many fields including the churches.

He was among the first people in Kenya to recognize the importance of internet services in church ministry.

African On-Line Internet Service Provider honored him for his support. He was one of the founder members of – The Berea Bible Institute and Resource Center in Nakuru, Kenya and also the All Saints Church Hall Naivasha.

He is known in The Gideon International Ministry “as a man who comprehends issues and articulates them with clarity.” Between 1996 and 2002, Rev. John was heard almost every morning and evening through the religious programs in the former Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (K.B.C.), a Kenya Government owned radio station.

Rev. John traveled all over East African countries and therefore, many churches had an opportunity to meet and listen to him. As a philanthropist, Rev. John has been a conduit of God’s blessings to many churches, schools and individuals.

The Ministry of Education in Kenya, Presbyterian Church of East Africa and the Anglican Church of Kenya recognized him for his leadership, generosity and support in schools and church’s development activities in various parts of Kenya.

He is a life member of The Bible Society of Kenya – sharing in the cost of translation, production and distribution of the Word of God. The Kenya Young Men’s Christian Association (K.Y.M.C.A.) was another organization that recognized and honored him for his outstanding support of street children programs in Kenya. Rev. John felt the need of serving his congregation further by advancing on his education.

He enrolled with Freedom Bible College and Seminary in June 2004, earning a Bachelor of Ministry Degree in Christian Counseling Psychology. Through hard work and God’s blessings, Rev. John continued further and earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical Pastoral Counseling and finally Doctor of Ministry in Christian Counseling Psychology. Rev. John has earned many awards from different Institutions for his outstanding performance including the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Hospital, (U.M.U.C.H).
