The Late Mr. Fredrick Githetha Gitau( 1951-Monday, February 2, 2015_
The late Mr. Fredrick Githetha was born in 1951 at Kijabe Location, Lari Division in Kiambu County. He was married to his beloved wife Esther Njeri Githetha in 1974. He was father to Eidah Wanjiku Kibaara of Springfield, Massachusetts (USA), Ruth Wanjiku Mbuthia, Emily Githetha, Charles Gitau, Rahab Githetha of Lowell, Massachusetts (USA), Dedan Karoki and James Njuguna. He was father-in-law to Kibaara Muriithi Ngetha of Springfield, MA (USA), Linus Mbuthia, Zack Kinyanjui (Lowell, MA (USA), Mrs Esther Gitau and Mrs. Dedan Karoki.
He was a grandfather to James Ngetha Kibaara and Eric Githetha Kibaara (both of Springfield, MA (USA), Wambui Mbuthia, Kariuki Mbuthia, Esther Njeri Mbuthia, Esther Njeri Gitau, Mugure Gitau, Esther Njeri Karoki.
The late Fredrick was a building contractor. He was a popular man in his town and was liked by many. He started feeling unwell in September 2014. He was diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing chemo treatment. He succumbed to his sickness after a short hospitalization and transitioned to glory on Monday, February 2, 2015. He was a member of AIC Mbauini, Kijabe.
A prayer meeting will be held on Friday, February 6, 2015 at the home of the Ngetha’s: 46 Stoker Street, Springfield, MA 01129 at 6 p.m. You can as well visit with the family at your convenience. The Late Githetha will be laid to rest on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at his farm, Mbauini, Kijabe (Kenya).
