It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Stephen Kirega Mwangi of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, on November 4, 2026, following a short battle with cancer. At the time of his passing, Stephen was residing in a group home.
Stephen was the beloved son of Jane Mwangi (Kenya) and the late Wilson Bari. He was a loving brother to George Mwangi (Kenya), Charles Mwangi (Canada), Douglas Mwangi (Kenya), Ephantus Mwangi (Kenya), and Susan Mwangi (Kenya).
He was a cherished cousin to Stephen Mwangi (Wangonjo) of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Andover, Simon Weru Mwangi and Elder Mary Weru of PCEA Neema Church, Lowell.
Most of Stephen’s immediate family resides in Kenya. Here in the USA, his cousins were his closest family.
As our family comes to terms with this heartbreaking loss, we humbly ask you to keep us in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
