“There was a colorful Sunday service July 2nd, 2017 at Bridgewater Massachusetts.
The service was presided over by the Most Rev Jackson Ole Sapit, Archbishop of the Anglican Church in Kenya and Bishop of the Nairobi Diocese.He was accompanied by his wife Esther Naserian and Canon Rev Provost Wainaina from All Saints Cathedral Nairobi,Kenya
This was a combined service between the two congregations Faith Anglican Church and Grace Anglican church in significance of the Archbishop’s visit.
The Archbishop was assisted by Bishop William Murdoch from the Anglican Diocese in New England and Rev Agnes and Rev Dorcas from Faith Anglican Church,Bridgewater
Many other New England Anglican Clergy were in attendance
The Sanctuary was well packed- full to capacity.
Service began at 11am and the preacher was the Archbishop himself whose message was on the theme of restoration.
This special service included a number of events such as the confirmation of several members, the ordination of a lay readers, and the induction of new members to the women’s and men’s groups.
After the service, there was a catered luncheon outside followed by cake cutting for the Archbishop.
