You Should Have This Experience In Kenya’s Maasai Mara
As the light plane finishes its taxi on the dirt landing strip near the safari lodge, it’s customary for your guide to be there to greet you. In all of my safaris in six southern and east Africa countries, those guides have been men. But coming into Mahali Mzuri, Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Limited Editionlodge in southern Kenya within the famed Maasai Mara, everything was different. First, the plane belonging to the charter company Scenic Air Safaris, a Cessna Grand Caravan with swiveling leather seats, was far above the usual safari transport.
