The Public Service Commission (PSC) has shortlisted six candidates for the position of Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) chairperson, the body has announced on its website.
They are Willian Kirwa, Philemon Mwaisaka, retired Archbishop Eliud Wabukala, Peter Ondieki, Rose Osoro and Erastus Rweria.
In a statement on its website, the PSC says the candidates are scheduled to appear for interviews starting November 17 at Commission House in Nairobi.
It says: “The Commission invites interested members of the public to submit any representations by written statement on oath (affidavits), that they may have on the suitability of any of the above candidates. Such information should be received at the Commission on or before 15th November, 2016”.
The position of EACC chairperson became vacant following the resignation of Philip Kinisu on August 31 after a company he was associated with was linked to the loss of Sh791 million at the National Youth Service.
