Gloves off! Peter Kenneth goes bare knuckle on Mike Sonko
Peter Kenneth has retaliated after Mike Sonko said that Kenneth got four E’s in his KCSE – Kenneth was at Kameme FM for a breakfast interview where he tore into Mike Sonko – The two are looking to contest for the Nairobi gubernatorial seat on a Jubilee ticket After a week-long silence, Nairobi gubernatorial seat hopeful, Peter Kenneth has responded to Mike Sonko’s poor grades slur.
In his defence, Kenneth said that the only E’s he knew were those in his name ‘Peter Kenneth’- four in number.
He explained that he attended one of the best schools in Kenya and outperformed everyone else. ” During my time in high school, there was no grade A or B, C, D, E. It was division 1,2,3,4,” Kenneth told Kameme FM.
Kenneth told the station that he had an impressive track record from the time he was at Kenya RE and later as the Gatanga MP. “Its interesting that someone wants me to come and compete with him on how many Es we have,” Kenneth added. Kenneth has previously been called to apologise to the Kikuyu community for refusing to back Uhuru in 2013. Sonko even stated that he would only step down for Kenneth if the latter apologised for asking the Hague to prosecute Uhuru and Ruto.
