Brother Kibai Gikuyu from Peabody,Massachusetts was made a Deacon in a jubilant ceremony at the Anglican Church of Kenya on Saturday August 4th 2018
He is now the newest Reverend in town now, Reverend Kibai Mwangi Gikuyu.
The colourful and glorious ceremony at the ACK St.Stephen’s Cathedral, Jogoo road was presided by the Right Reverend Bishop Joel Waweru and the Right Reverend Bishop Emeritus Peter Njoka.
Later there was a reception at Taj Gardens in Thika.
May the gracious favor of God be with the servant and his family in his new role in the ministry.
The ordination was held on Saturday August 4th 2018
The church was packed to capacity over 1,200 guests were in attendance and some had to stand
Fourteen people were made Deacons and one was ordained into full priesthood.

Other ordinads were Charles, Kingara, David Ongul, Frida, Jennifer, Mbogo, Thairu, Mwaura, Peter, Thuthi, Naftali, Nathan, Julius, and Ouma who was ordained into full priesthood.
The Diaspora was not left behind,we had one of our own now Rev Kibai Gikuyu.
We thank God for him to have been ingrafted into the Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) Dioecse of Nairobi.
We have seen the gracious favor of God as a result of the prayers of many. Glory to God!
