Memorial Service|Fundraiser held For the Late Njoki Wa Ndegwa in Lowell,Massachusetts (Photos|Video)
Hundreds of friends and family of the late Njoki Wa Ndegwa gathered to pay their last respects to the well known Pioneer of Diaspora Radio Jambo Radio Network and formerly of Kameme FM in Nairobi, Kenya. She passed away on Friday, February 16th, 2018 from metastatic brain tumors.
The Memorial service in Lowell,Massachusetts was held on February 18th 2018
The well attended memorial service was held at Ushindi Church Lowell,Massachusetts was presided & Officiated over by Rev.Dr.Kimatu and Ven Samuel Kimohu.
The president of the Kenya American Pastors Fellowship (KAPF) Pastor Charles Karanja of PEFA was also in attendance in the company of over 30 pastor from all over New England areas.
The Fundraiser raised over $22,000 with the help of our able emcee Mr.Peter Karugu and Mr Sam Mbugua Aka Big Mbugua
A special thanks to all who attended and those who gave their financial,spiritual and moral support during this transition
Njoki wa Ndegwa was loving mother to Kenneth Ndegwa, Edwin Gitonga, Patrick Maina and Alfred Njogu.
Sister to Grace Wanjiru (Nyeri), Judith wambui Gathecha (Nairobi), Esther Ng’ang’a (Kabatini), Isabel Wangechi Mwangi (Nairobi), the late Martin Maina( Nyeri), Julia Njeri Gatugi (Nairobi), Mary Wanjiku (Nairobi), Cornellious Ndegwa (Ng’arua), and George Mwangi (Nairobi). Grandmother to Alma Njoki. Daughter of the late Teresa Wangui ,Collnelius and Leah Ndegwa of Kabazi town in Nakuru county.
Family and friends are meeting daily from 6pm for prayers at Francis & Jane Muhia’s home:
