Magarini MP says Coast no longer ODM stronghold, welcomes President to the region

Magarini MP Harrison Kombe (pictured) wants Coast to support the Jubilee government and move away from the opposition. Speaking to journalists at Gongoni in his constituency on Saturday during soccer finals for tournament he organised, Kombe said the government, led by President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto, will help end the squatters problem in the region.

President Kenyatta is set to tour the region this week on an official visit to open and initiate other key development projects. He said the projects the President will launch include the Mariakani-Mavueni, the Mariakani-Bamba and Malindi-Salagate roads. Kombe said there is no other government will resolve land injustices other than Jubilee. He said Cord leader Raila Odinga failed to build roads in the region while James Orengo as Minister of Lands failed to solve land problems.
