Ushindi Community Church
As you all may know, our sister and friend has been sick with cancer for several years. She has had numerous hospital visits and hospitalizations all without insurance. Right now, she has a huge hospital bill plus she needs 24/7 specialized home care, chemotherapy and special machines to assist her breathing, all in the midst of her other necessities, a roof over her head and bills as we know them. It has not been easy for her, but she should not be in need or want if she is in our midst.
As a community that comes together to care for its own, we will also rise up to this occasion. In the spirit of our African and Christian generosity we have organized for a Harambee in support of our sister, Njoki wa Ndegwa.
It will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Ushindi Church, 450 Chelmsford St, Lowell, MA 01851 starting at 3 pm. Every one of us is a guest of honor.
We encourage all our pastors and other group leaders to announce it to their members. We also encourage us all to participate. We have done it before and we will do it again, and again.
Njoki wa Ndegwa has blessed and encourage many throughout her long career in radio broadcasting. And other media. Let us bless her now, even as we display to her our love and compassion during this her time of need.
You are all invited to this occasion. Your presence and participation and generous donation will be highly appreciated.
The King (Jesus) will reply, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did to me” (Matthew 25:40).
