He alleged a Kiambu-based cartel had set the deputy governor up for blackmail – Unfortunately, the video went public and Peter Ndambiri thoroughly embarrassed Gatundu South legislator Moses Kuria has faulted an alleged criminal network for the recent embarrassment of Kirinyaga deputy governor Peter Ndambiri. Kuria spoke shortly after a video emerged online showing Ndambiri in a compromising situation with a woman.According to the legislator, a breed of extortionists had taken to bust Ndambiri in the act in a bid to squeeze some money out of him. “I always say it is nonsensical to pay anyone so as not to give a story to the media. That breeds extortion and encourages criminal networks to thrive. It is a pity that the Kirinyaga DG did not immediately report such extortionists to the police,” Kuria said
If the viral video is anything to go by, the Kirinyaga deputy is begging for pardon from an unidentified man as he receives a thrashing alongside the lady.
Ndambiri can clearly be heard saying in the video that he had no idea the woman was married, but the men in on the other side of the camera would hear none of it. While it is not certain whether the woman is indeed married, Kuria believes the whole thing was a nicely crafted plot by a Kiambu-based cartel.READ MORE
