Award-winning singer Neema Ntalel Silayio has earned her place in the live finals of the The Voice Holland, one of the biggest singing competitions in the world.

Neem, who is representing Kenya in the show which has launched the careers of many artistes in the world, has been wowing viewers and judges alike with her angelic voice throughout the competition.

And she’s slowly proving that she’s the best of the best after beating five contestants under Team Waylon to the top three on the knockouts.

Throughout the show, Neema has made traditional Maasai attire her trademark outfit.

KORA AWARD

Born in Kajiado, the first of five children, Neema began her pursuit of a music career when she recorded her first single, Impressions of love, a song about the different images of God’s love for mankind.

This single got a nomination for an AGMA (American Gospel Music Award), for best international act in 2003.

Two years later, while in the final year of college, Neema went on to win a KORA Award for best female artist – Eastern Africa.

This award opened the door for Neema’s first music tour for six week in Canada.

She has since toured several others to countries including the USA, The Netherlands, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Tanzania, South Africa and Mozambique.
