Kenyan Woman Killed in a Car Crash in Collins County, Texas – Her Child in Critical Condition in ICU
One person has died and two others are hospitalized after a major two-vehicle crash that closed U.S. Highway 380 for several hours Tuesday in Collin County.
The crash, involving a pickup truck and passenger sedan, was reported at about 5 p.m. near the intersection with Cypress Bend Drive, just west of Princeton.
Investigators said a mother (reported to be Kenyan) and her child were occupying one vehicle, and a lone occupant was in the other vehicle.
One of the three was pronounced dead at the scene, police said, and the other two were airlifted by emergency medical helicopters for treatment.
Additional information has not been confirmed about the people involved or the conditions of the two who were transported.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, police said.
