Subtitle A—Immigration Provisions
SEC. 60001. PROTECTIONS AND WORK PERMITS.
(a) IN GENERAL.—The Secretary of Homeland Security shall
(1) under section 212(d)(5) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1182(d)(5)) and con- sistent with this section, parole into the United States for a period of 5 years or until September 30, 2031, whichever is earlier, an alien described in sub- section (b), if such alien—
(A) files an application for parole after the date of the enactment of this section;
(B) pays an administrative fee in an amount sufficient to cover the cost of proc- essing the application; and
(C) completes security and law enforce- ment background checks to the satisfaction of the Secretary; and
(2) for the period during which an alien is pa-
roled into the United States under paragraph (1) and any period in which such parole is extended under subsection (c)—READ MORE
