Kenyan Gospel singer Emmy Kosgei is pregnant!
In an exclusive interview with the Star Newspaper, the Taunet Nelel hit maker said that she and her Nigerian hubby Apostle Anselm Madubuko (above with Emmy) are expecting a child. This comes a few months after controversial rumours, suggested that the couple was staring at a possible divorce.
“Everything (in our marriage) is going on normally and becoming even better everyday. The rumours (about divorce) were just dubious and malicious, propagated by people of bad will. People talk a lot of things and much of that is very untrue. But I never dwell on such things,” she said.
So, are you two expecting a child? “Yes! Yes! A child is coming very soon. Very soon!” said a happy-looking Kosgei.
Kosgei (who says that Nigerians have developed “mad love” for her music) was in the country after a visit from Germany. She had travelled there in her personal position as Kenya’s Tourism and Culture Ambassador. She showcased tourism products at the just concluded International Tourism Bourse.
She said: “Kenya’s tourism sector received lots of positive endorsements and was ranked the second best country in Africa. I felt so honoured, being there to showcase the best things my country has to offer. We have so much cultural uniqueness that we need to market to make this country a better place.”
