Drama in Migori as Joho is ‘rejected’
Hassan Joho is set to hold a public rally in Migori county – However, he is facing challenges as tents and the stage they had set up were brought down – His supporters are accusing Migori Governor Okoth Obado for the setback Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho’s planned Monday, April 3 rally in Migori county is facing serious challenges after tents and a podium they had set up were brought down on the night of Sunday, April 2.
Drama ensued when unknown people with the help of police officers brought down the tents and the stage that had been set-up
Joho supporters believe that the governor instructed his men and the police in the county to frustrate efforts by the ODM party leader and other leaders to hold a rally in the town. It is believed that Suna East MP Junnet Mohammed is eyeing the gubernatorial seat and the rally would be used to declare his bid under an ODM ticket.
