INFORMATION ABOUT KENYANS IN KYUSHU
Following the earthquake in Kyushu, we are requesting any affected Kenyan/s or anybody with information of affected Kenyan/s to contact the Embassy immediately.
Thursday, April 14, 2016, 4:30 PM – Several buildings and homes have been destroyed and at least two people are dead after a magnitude 6.2 earthquake struck southern Japan Thursday.
The quake hit the island of Kyushu, 12 km east of the city of Kumamoto at 9:26 p.m. local time, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. No tsunami warnings were issued.
