US-Kenya agree on bolstering ties on trade & infrastructure
President Uhuru Kenyatta last night met with US President Donald Trump at the White house Washington DC where the two leaders spoke matters on trade, security and enhancing the strategic partnership between the two countries.
Mr. Kenyatta is the second African head of state to meet Trump at the white house following a recent visit by the Nigerian president.
The two leaders committed to expanding their economic cooperation by establishing a US-Kenya Trade and Investment Working Group to explore ways to deepen ties between the two countries. Further the two were thrilled in the established direct flights between Nairobi-New York a move that is set to expand the economic and cultural ties between the two countries.
