Transition /Death Announcement:“Honoring Dr. Joseck Muchiri Muhuhi: A Beloved Son of Kirinyaga in the U.S. Diaspora”
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Dr. Joseck Muchiri Muhuhi of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at the age of 53. He passed away on June 7, 2026, while receiving medical care at the hospital, surrounded by his loved ones.
Joseck was the cherished son of Margaret Muhuhi of Kirinyaga, Kenya, and the late Reuben Muhuhi.
He was the beloved fiancé of Florence Chege of Boston, MA, and a devoted father to his two children, Catherine (19) and Collins (14), who reside in Michigan with their mother.
He will be laid to rest in Michigan. Details regarding prayer meetings and further arrangements will be shared as they become available.
