It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the death of Mary Njoki (Kiaha) Green of Brockton Massachusetts on Sunday, September 13, 2020 a few days after she underwent a kidney transplant following many years of kidney dialysis.

Mrs. Green was the wife of the late Frederick S. Green and daughter of the late Peter Kiaha Mbaki and Florence Wangui Kiaha of Mukurweini, Nyeri, Kenya; loving mother of Professor Jennifer Waruguru Kibicho of Milwaukee Wisconsin, Carol Kibicho and her husband Don Macharia of Frisco Texas, Valentina Kibicho and her fiancé Israel Henshaw of Brockton, Lucy Wanjiru of Kenya, Peter Kiaha and his fiancée Vivian Wainaina of Brockton Massachusetts, and Richard Kiaha of Brockton Massachusetts. Beloved stepmother to Jonathan F. Green, Stacy Y. Dupont, Alfred B. Green, and Brenda Johnson of the USA. Sister to Joe Gitahi of Seattle Washington (USA) and Regina Kagori of Mukurweini Kenya. Also, sister to the late James Kanyeki, the late John Keen Githaiga, and the late Margaret Wangechi. Aunt to Dan, Paul, Joan, Nick, John, Tony, Gitari, Moses, Florence, among others. Grandmother to Njoki, Mumbi and Nolan of Kenya, and Gabrielle of Frisco Texas (USA). Sister-in-law to Asmahan Ali (Mama Tony) of Nairobi, Agnes Wanjiru and Gladys Taylor (Panky) of West Palm Beach Florida (USA). Mrs. Green was a friend to many.

Family and friends will be gathering to celebrate the life of Mrs. Green this Sunday, September 20th, 2020 from 2-4 P.M. EST at the Grace and Faith Anglican Church, 1095 South St., Bridgewater MA 02324. Visitation and paying of last respects will take place at the Waitt Funeral Home on 850 North Main St., Brockton, MA 02301 on Monday, September 21, 2020 from 9-10 A.M. EST Mrs. Green will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Fredrick on Monday, September 21, 2020 at 12:00 P.M. EST at The Massachusetts National Cemetery on Connery Ave, Bourne, MA 02542.
