It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mwalimu Peter Ngigi Kimani.
Son of the late Kimani Kungu and Late Veronica Wanjiku. A loving husband of Mary Nduta.
Father of Late veronica Wanjiku, Jane Wangari, Rev .Elizabeth Wanyoike (USA) Dr. Stephen Kimani Ngigi (Maragua Hospital) Eng Alex Gacanja, Pastor Nancy Nderitu, Benedict Njeri, Samuel Kung’u, Stanley Githende, and Scolastica Wambui. A grand father and a great great grandfather to many children here in Kenya and in the USA
He was brother of the late Maria Wanjiku, late Njenga Kimani, late Anna Njeri Kagira and Patrick Kung’u Kimani (Kamenu Estate Makongeni Thika).
Friends and family are meeting daily at their home Kairi village for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The cortege leaves Bishop Okoe funeral home, Thika on Thursday 20th August 2026 at 8:00am for a funeral mass at St. Stephen catholic church Kairi from 11 am.
He will be later be laid to rest at his family home in kairi.
