Rhema Gospel Church in Irving TX to Celebrate First Anniversary
Rhema Gospel Church in Irving Texas are celebrating their first anniversary on the weekend of November 4-6, 2016. Key features in the anniversary celebrations will be a Rhematic Life Conference featuring a youth Revival on Friday, November 4, 2016, Family life Seminar on Saturday, November 5, 2016. On Sunday, November 6 there will be a worship service at 12:30 pm followed by an Anniversary Celebration service at 4:30 pm.
Professor Solomon Waigwa is the founder and senior pastor of Rhema Gospel Church in Irving Texas. He says that Rhema Gospel Church is a Christian community whose calling is to proclaim God’s Word promptly, precisely, and practically. “We do so by living out the word of God in every setting of our lives. The Living, Spoken Word of God, once believed, is able to turn lives around and put them on a path to victory.”
Dr. Solomon Waigwa, who also brings a popular program called “Njũgũma Ngũnyi-inĩ” on Jambo Radio Network, teaches that because Christians live in a world of spiraling uncertainty due to rampant social change, “we need the stability of Rhema word, the living, spoken word of God to establish and ground us in Christ.”
The vision of Rhema Gospel Church, according to Professor Waigwa, is to become a prophetic force proclaiming the living word of faith to the whole World. He adds: “We have witnessed this in the past one year and that is why we are celebrating. Individuals and families are thriving and flourishing as they let the word of God to dwell in them richly.” (Colossians 3:6)
Among the many ministries of Rhema Gospel Church is one they launched just recently called Rhema Truckers Fellowship. This ministry reaches out to truck drivers on the road.
