Kenya Direct Flights Trilateral Business Forum & Dialogue
The U.S. Chamber, in partnership with the Kenya Embassy and AmCham Kenya hosted a high-level delegation of government officials for a trilateral dialogue with American companies and government officials from both countries.
On behalf of the U.S. Africa Business Center, the Embassy of Kenya and the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) Kenya, we would like to thank you for attending last week’s Kenya Direct Flights Trilateral Forum and reception. We were honored by the partnership with U.S. and Kenya government officials, and pleased that more than 100 attendees from the private and public sectors gathered to exchange ideas on leveraging the direct flight for game-changing trade and investment opportunities in Kenya.

Deal Team
Commerce convened an Interagency Deal Team to assemble tailored packages for U.S. companies to compete on opportunities in Kenya. The goal is to:
- Identify Opportunities for U.S. Companies
- Deliver actionable market intelligence
- Help U.S. companies close deals
Follow Up Actions
- Received initial list of priority projects that can be shared with the U.S. private sector, we’re now in the process of figuring out what we have.
- Coordinating U.S Agency Resources
- Start Trade Barriers/Impediments to Doing Business Work
- Create an iterative discussion on Priority Projects
- Next Step: Interagency Working Level Delegation to Kenya in Late January – Early February 2019
