Moses Kuria Reveals What ‘God’ Told Him about Raila Odinga
Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria says that time for the National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate Raila Odinga to be in active politics was over.
Speaking in Ndumberi stadium on Sunday when the Jubilee Party was issuing nominations certificate to winners of Kiambu County, the controversial lawmaker said that God wants the former Prime Minister to quit active politics so he can make him ‘rest in peace’.
The lawmaker claimed that he ‘talks’ with God, and he had revealed to him that Raila will soon be hanging his political boots after the August 8 elections. “Nii nitwaragia na Ngai na aranjirire githurano giki giukite tuhurukie Raila wira, nake thutha ucio ni ekumuhurukia,” he said in Kikuyu language at an event in Kiambu County.
(God speaks to me and recently he told me that during the forthcoming elections we should send Raila to retirement, thereafter God will make Him rest in peace).
Kuria called on Kiambu residents to verify their details in the ongoing process by the Independent Elections and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) urging them to turn out in large numbers in August 8 elections to ensure that President Uhuru Kenyatta is re-elected for another five years in office.
“Charity begins at home. This is President Kenyatta’s backyard and we must vote for him to the last man in August and ensure we hand him a second term,” he added.
Kiambu Jubilee Governor ticket winner, Ferdinand Waititu, Senator Kimani wa Matangi, Women MP, MPs and MCA’s were issued with Jubilee certificates during the event attended by thousands of Kiambu residents.
