Meet a Kenyan woman making great strides when it comes to wine. I attended this years Prowein trade fair and met my friend Elizabeth Hartig and her Emali wines.

Patricia Jerotich Tschiltsch and Elizabeth Muringi Hartig the two directors of Wine2Africa.
Wine2Africa is the exclusive wine exporters of fine Austrian wines to Africa. Founded in 2014 by Patricia Tschiltsch, and later joined by Muringi Hartig. Wine2africa is a wine exporter based in Austria. They work with a network of distributors to connect wine lovers from Africa with great winemakers from Austria and their delicious wines.
They both hail from our great country Kenya but lives in Austria.
Patricia has a broad export expertise and industry knowledge with an in-depth understanding of international business. The basic seminar from the Weinakademie in Austria broadened her knowledge in Austrian wines. Additionally she holds an export oriented management degree.
This is what she had to say,“Would you like me to give you a formula for success? It’s quite simple, really. Double your rate of failure. You are thinking of failure as the enemy of success. But it isn’t at all. You can be discouraged by failure or you can learn from it. So go ahead and make mistakes. Make all you can. Because remember that’s where you will find success.”
Elizabeth is a guru in Austrian culture, tradition and wine, Apart from this, she further extended her enthusiasm and attended wine courses and not only did she excel on degustation challenges but proved to be among one of the right person to lead wine2africa. This is what Elizabeth had to say, “The person who gets the farthest is generally the one who is willing to do and dare. The sure-thing boat never gets far from shore.Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life – think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success. ”
