Kenyan TikTok Star Baba Mona and Family Die in a Grisly Road Crash
Kenyan TikTok star Baba Mona and three family members have died in a grisly road accident in Kericho County.
Baba Mona, real name May Kevin Oselu, was killed alongside his daughter Mona and two of his sisters in the crash that occurred at Fort Ternan area along the Londiani-Muhoroni road on Friday evening.
Eyewitnesses said the driver of the dark blue saloon car the family was traveling in lost control, veered off the road before hitting guard rails and landing in a ditch. A child was thrown off the vehicle while the three adult passengers sustained multiple injuries.
The minor died while being rushed to the nearby Fort Ternan Hospital while Baba Mona and his sisters died from their injuries at the scene.
Police confirmed that all four passengers were family members travelling to the Kandege area in Koru, Muhoroni.
The bodies of the deceased were moved to St Vincent’s hospital mortuary while the damaged vehicle was towed to Fort Ternan police station.
Baba Mona was a popular content creator on TikTok and had amassed a huge following due to the pieces of advice he gave to his audience in the Luo language.
Many of his fans took to social media to pay tribute to Baba Mona and his family members.
