KENYAN PASTOR TO RUN IN THE BOSTON MARATHON
Reknown Kenyan American Pastor living in Boston, Rev. Carl Phillip Kihato has declared that he will be running in the Boston Marathon on Monday 20th April 2015. He will do so as a non-qualified participant to raise funds for Kaleo Bible College in Murang’a Kenya.
The College, which he founded last year, is a full Christian academic institution offering theological education and training to Pastors and Christian Leaders at a very low and affordable cost. It mainly targets the rural Christian Ministers who have little or no chance of ever attaining any quality training and/or education due to inability to raise funds.

The mission of the College is “to train those who are called by God to effectively and efficiently equip God’s people for works of service,” so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:12-13).
The College’s main Campus is currently under construction on a one acre piece of land recently acquired in Murang’a County, near Kangema town. The Campus will be fully equipped with an operational library and a computer lab.
The College currently has 20 laptop computers which are used by the students in all classes. Its current enrollment is 45 students which are registered in the Diploma and Certificate Program. The students meet three times a year during the school holidays (April, August and December). The College will also be offering free computer lessons to anyone interested in the community.
