Kenyan-Born Cybersecurity Expert Making Waves in the US Tech Industry

Kenyan-born cybersecurity expert Noureen Njoroge has built a career in the United States focused on protecting digital systems and developing the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.

Based in North Carolina, Njoroge has worked in the American technology sector, combining technical expertise with leadership and mentoring. Her career began in Kenya before she moved into roles at the forefront of digital security.

Her work with major international organisations, including Cisco Systems, has strengthened her reputation in cybersecurity. At Cisco, she served as a Cybersecurity Champion, contributing to efforts to protect the infrastructure that supports global connectivity.

The company plays a major role in developing and securing routers, switches and other technologies that carry data across networks, placing Njoroge’s work within a critical part of the global digital ecosystem.
