Kenya Airports Authority director wanted in US for fraud
A businessman who was among the 302 persons appointed to various boards of state corporations is a fugitive wanted in the United States.
It has now emerged that Bootsy Musyoka Mutiso, appointed to Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) carried in a Special Issue of the Kenya Gazette, Vol. CXVII-No. 43 published on Monday 27 April 2015, is wanted in the US to answer to charges of committing a felony. He was appointed alongside Kevin Kihara for a period of three years, with their appointment being gazetted by Acting Transport CS James Macharia. However it has now emerged Musyoka is wanted in the US state of Oklahoma, where a warrant of arrest was issued 18 years ago for obtaining merchandise through false pretence. According to court records, the case is still active and the warrant was last updated on December, 4, 2010 for Criminal Felony No. CF-1998-3165 of obtaining merchandise by bogus check/felony in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The offence was allegedly committed on 07/26/1996, and thereafter Musyoka left the US to return home with the case being filed in June, 23, 1998.READ MORE
