Before he resumed to his job, he felt weak and after a few days, went to the hospital and was admitted.
The Doctor said he was anaemic and after some tests, he was diagnosed with Leukemia (blood cancer).
He then developed complications and intense breathing difficulties
It was then, that he called the Mother and the sister Lilian Maina who lives in California.
Who then decided to get him transferred to Boston, Massachusetts closer to family.
He was discharged on 14th April 2017 and flown to Boston, Worcester – Umass University Hospital, and on the same day admitted to ICU for 14 days.
