JEFF KOINANGE among local journalists to interview OBAMA.
Award winning journalist, Jeff Koinange, is among Kenyan journalists who will interview US President Barrack Obama when he visits Kenya next week.
According to multiple sources from the US Embassy in Nairobi and State House, Jeff has been selected due to his immense experience in the global arena and after he dwarfed other journalists like NTV’s Larry Madowo and KTN’s Joe Ageyo.
Jeff, who has worked with CNN, Reuters and NBC, has previously interviewed renowned world leaders including the late South African President, Nelson Mandela, former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan and American talk show host, Oprah Winfrey.
Larry Madowo was also among those selected but failed because he has only interviewed local politicians like CORD leader, Raila Odinga and patented hate monger and Gatundu South MP, Moses Kuria.
The US President, who has Kenyan roots, is expected to visit Kenya next week to attend the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) and also hold bilateral talks with his host, President Uhuru Kenyatta.
