Former Redykyulas comedian KJ ousts incumbent Jubilee big wig in tight Dagoretti race
Dagoretti South Parliamentary hopeful John Kiarie has been declared winner in the ongoing Jubilee party nominations. Kiarie who was battling it out with Dennis Waweru took the lead with 9,793 votes while Waweru came in close with 9,051 votes
Kiarie and his counterparts had earlier accused Waweru of planning to interfere with the nomination process.
In 2013 Kiarie unsuccessfully vied for a similar position under the ODM ticket
