EXPOSED: The 3 Deadly Nairobi University Gangs

New reports now indicate that three dangerous gangs could be behind the spate of attacks that have previously been witnessed at the University of Nairobi (UoN), which was recently closed down over a chaotic students election.

On Monday, a report aired on national TV, disclosed that three deadly groups – Panga Kazi, Wise Men and Executive – are operating at UoN.

According to sources at the University, the gangs normally extort money from shop owners as well as restaurants, and worse still, they are available for hire during the often chaotic Students Organisation of Nairobi University (SONU) elections.

The three gangs are accused of propagating incidents of violence and intimidations, as well as peddling drugs such as bhang, cocaine and heroine.

A student identified as Masese Salim alias Wiseman, and whom police claim to be hunting, is alleged to be the leader of the lethal Wise Men gang at the institution. Ironically, Citizen TV was able to reach and interview him within two hours.

Salim aka Wiseman reportedly joined University of Nairobi in 2005 to study Economics and ten years later, he still a student at UoN residing in the dreaded Hall 9.

A recent police raid of Hall 9 recovered crude weapons among them machetes, bloody knives and police uniform.
