Australian Police Launch Search for Kenyan Man Wanted on Sydney Arrest Warrants

Australian police have issued a public appeal to help locate 25-year-old Kenyan national Able Kimutai, who is wanted on outstanding arrest warrants in Sydney.

New South Wales Police said Kimutai is the subject of active inquiries in the Bankstown area. Investigators have not disclosed the offences linked to the warrants but confirmed that efforts to find him are continuing.

Police have asked anyone with information about Kimutai’s whereabouts or possible place of residence to contact Crime Stoppers. They said information can be provided anonymously and advised members of the public not to approach him.

Instead, any sightings should be reported to police so officers can respond safely.

The appeal forms part of the wider approach used by New South Wales Police to seek public assistance in locating wanted people.

Authorities said information from the community can be valuable in helping investigators identify a person’s whereabouts and progress ongoing inquiries.

Police have encouraged friends, acquaintances and anyone with relevant information to come forward, saying that even small details could assist the investigation.

Although the nature of the allegations has not been disclosed, authorities said the public appeal is intended to help locate Kimutai safely so the outstanding warrants can be addressed through the legal process. Police said further updates will be provided as the investigation continues and reiterated that public assistance remains important in helping officers locate Kimutai.
