Wake and Funeral service planned for the late Margaret (Maggie) Wanjiru Mbitu of Whitman, Massachusetts
The funeral services will be held on Monday, November 13th at Crossroads Worship Center 241 Broad Street, Weymouth, MA and burial to follow at Colebrook Cemetery 45 Essex St, Whitman, MA.
It is with deep sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the sudden demise of Margaret (Maggie) Wanjiru Mbitu of Whitman, Massachusetts on the evening of Wednesday November 1st 2023. She was born on 2/26/1992 at Kijabe Hospital in Kiambu, Kenya.
Maggie was the loving daughter to Harun K. Mbitu and Rose W. Mbitu. She is survived by her brother Bernard N. Mbitu and sister Ann M. Mbitu. She was aunt to Rose Wanjiru Njoroge, Annette Njoki Njoroge, Emmanuel Kamau Njoroge and Elvis Munyua Njoroge. Maggie was full of life, loved to travel, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was loving, kind, caring and a genuine spirit.
The wake is set for Sunday, November 12th 4-8 PM at McDonald Keohane Funeral Home 809 Main St. Weymouth, MA.

It is with heavy hearts, great sadness, and acceptance that we inform you about the unexpected passing on of our loved one Margaret (Maggie) Mbitu. She was a dear daughter of Rose and Harun Mbitu Kamau, sister to Ann Mbitu and Benard Mbitu, Auntie to Rose, Benard, Emmanuel, Wanjiru and many others here in the US and in Kenya.
