President Kenyatta strongly defends SGR project

President Uhuru Kenyatta dismissed critics who are questioning the rationale of building Standard Gauge Railway and other infrastructure projects saying that these projects are necessary if the country’s economy is to grow. During the Infrastructure Summit held at State House today, the President defended the massive investments in the projects which have also caused the country to incur huge debts, saying they are necessary to boost the economy.
