Mercy Mungai a Psychology and Premed Student at Northeastern University had a life changing opportunity at the recently held Red Sox opening game at Fenway Park Boston, Massachusetts
I appreciate each and every one of you that has shown me nothing but real love and unconditional support since i announced my performance at Fenway during the Redsox game on May 2nd.
Mercy Mungai had an awesome opportunity and time to sing the the American national anthem during the Sox pregame held at Fenway park
Speaking to Samrack Media on how she got that golden opportunity to sing at the much converted gaming event, she had this to say..
So my school, Northeastern University(N.U) had a N.U Idol competition that she won and the winner got the opportunity to sing the national anthem at the May 2nd 2017 Redsox game.
“I appreciate each and every one of you that has shown me nothing but real love and unconditional support since I announced my performance at Fenway during the Redsox game on May 2nd.
That was one of the most unforgettable and incredible days of my life.”
Mercy has received countless number of calls,emails and messages of goodwill and how proud they were seeing her on the news as she performed the star spangled banner at the game; her confidence, her vocals were off the hook, Great work Mercy. What an accomplishment!

In HS I sang the National Anthem in front of family and friends at my graduation, tomorrow I get to sing it in front of thousands of people at Fenway at the RedSox game😩🙌🏾 Bruuuuuh what is my life😭🙏🏾 I’m still in disbelief!!
Mercy Mungai is a young talented artist and media personality.
She will be graduating with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and Premed from the prestigious Northeastern University.
