TRANSITION/DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT of Bishop Pius Macharia Worcester,Massachusetts

Bishop Pius Macharia traveled to United States 🇺🇸 in  2015 to visit his lovely Daughter Tabby Pius of Worcester MA. He was  very happy to visit with his 3 grandchildren. Few months later he went for a routine check up at Umass clinic and that’s when he was diagnosed with prostate cancer.
He first had his surgery in September following Radiation the following year (2016) He went into remission for 5 months. In August 2016 he was diagnosed with lung cancer. He went through extensive chemo therapy for 2 months which was very successful. He again went into remission.
March 2017 his lung cancer came back and he was admitted to Umass university campus for 5 days. He later was discharged from the hospital He went back home where he was living with The daughter Tabby Pius He was home for 4 days and again we called the ambulance when Dad was having breathing problems and he was rushed to Umass university campus. He stayed for a week and was discharged to go home on 3/17/2017 He was home until the Lord called him to glory on 03/23/2017 at 4:45 Am in the morning.
Bishop left behind his loving wife of 55 years of marriage and 6 children Florence Wairimu Pius of Nairobi Kenya 🇰🇪 Saimon sankale Pius of Narok, Grace Wangui Pius, Richard Kamau Pius, Daniel Macharia Pius of USA and Tabitha Pius of USA he also left behind 13 Grandchildren And one great grandchildren lost his fight to cancer.  Our Dad was a true legend and he died a God fearing Man of Faith.
