It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Gabriel Njenga Waweru on 10/22/2026 in Kenya. Formally of the Lowell community for many years before returning to Kenya in 2008. He was son to Late Joram Waweru and Elizabeth Thuiya both of Kimwangi, Gatundu, Kenya.
He is a loving husband to Charity Waithera Njenga of Chelmsford, MA. A devoted father to Joram Waweru Njenga and Martha Wacera Mwaura of Kenya. Elizabeth Njenga (Beth), Lucy Njenga (Kamso), Milika Njenga (Njeri) and father in law to Joshua Ochwo of Chelmsford. He was a cherished grandfather to many.
