Tourist’s Scary Moment At Maasai Mara As He’s Swamped by Cheetahs
A cheetah jumped into a game drive vehicle at the Masai Mara, scaring several tourists but granting a photographer several picture perfect moments.
David Horsey captured the animal as it jumped into the back seat next to his friend Mickey McCaldin, a tourist from Ireland.
The two friends, who were holidaying with their wives, had been tracking a family of cheetahs when the unusual happened, Daily Mail reported.
“I have been living in Kenya all my life and I have never seen anything like this. The cheetah just wasn’t scared of getting up close and personal,” Horsey said.
After standing about a foot apart from McCaldin, the cheetah jumped out of the vehicle.
“Once it had got bored of Mickey it turned away and looked out of the vehicle for a few minutes,” the photographer said.
