SUSPECTED AL SHABAAB TERRORIST SHOT DEAD AFTER STABBING POLICE OFFICER AT US EMBASSY

A suspected Al Shabaab terrorist has been shot dead after he stabbed a General Service Unit (GSU) officer guarding the US Embassy in Nairobi.

The suspect was shot dead while attempting to gain entry into the Embassy. The stabbed officer has been reported to be in a stable condition.

Gigiri OCPD Vitalis Otieno said: “The attacker is a male of Somali origin. The knife has been recovered, body still at the scene.”
