A photo of Makueni Governor Prof Kivutha Kibwana carrying a child on his back has excited Kenyans online, with many lauding him for showing servant leadership and humility.
Kibwana uploaded the photo on his social media page, explaining he was celebrating the Day of the African Child.
“Today as we celebrate the #DayofTheAfricanChild, themed ‘Leave no child behind for Africa’s Development’, let’s all reflect on our contribution to make our children thrive and develop,” he wrote.
“We all have to uphold child rights, advocate for them and most importantly protect them,” he added.
