The just concluded party primaries have revealed the best and the worst side of politicians – The losers have been the most dramatic and emotionally charged with some even crying out following the defeat or after they were allegedly rigged out – Perhaps the most epic description of desperation is the photo of Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua locked out of Jubilee party headquarters Politicians who have lost in the just concluded Jubilee primaries have shown the highest level of desperation as they fight to remain relevant. While some have conceded defeat, counted their loses and licked their wounds, others are still clinging to hope. They have launched appeals with the various dispute tribunals hoping that tables will turn on their favour.
Some in the Jubilee party have been camping for days at the party headquarters in Pangani, Nairobi following disputed results. One politician is perhaps the epitome of the sense of desperation if his photo which has been making rounds on social media is anything to go by.
It is that of Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua who lost to former Nakuru Town constituency MP Lee Kinyanjui.
