Still Small Theatre is a Christian ministry designed to help people grow closer to God, whether they know Him already or not.
We tour our shows, and work with churches and other ministries to bring them to the areas they serve at little or no cost, so that audience members have a stable supporting Christian environment to turn to, and so that the church or ministry can use it to boost the ministry they’re already doing.
We also are very intentional about using the rehearsal process as a time of spiritual growth together. People who have acted in our shows consistently remark on how powerful it has been in their spiritual lives. Auditions are always open to all, regardless of experience level, and we enjoy working with and actively seek out a very diverse range of people. Our work in this regard was recognized with the 2013 Making a Difference in Christian Service Award and Eldin Villafane award from Gordon Conwell’s Center for Urban Ministerial Education (CUME).
