NEW SCARY DEVELOPMENTS IN KENYA
Will Martha Karua’s case at the East African Court of Appeal, the new Ruto’s revelation of the plan to murder of Chebukati and the Jeremiah Kioni’s new figures of election votes cast during the 2022 elections, create a new political atmosphere in Kenya? And are the 3 factors above, enough to raise an alarm and cause some concerns in Kenya? After the ICC at the Hague, took over the Post Elections Violent cases, many witnesses disappeared mysteriously and others were allegedly murdered mysteriously. Today the history of those witnesses has gone cold and Kenyans have continued with their businesses as though nothing happened.
On January 15, 2023, William Ruto surprised Kenyans with the news that there had been plans to murder Wafula Chebukati. On January 16, 2023, Jeremiah Kioni came up with another dossier that Raila Amolo Odinga had won the 2022 elections with a landslide victory of 8,170,355 million votes, against William Ruto who garnered 5,915,973 million votes.
On November 4, 2022, Martha Wangare Karua and the Muslim for Human Rights (MUHURI), took complains of August 9. 2022 elections irregularities to the East African Court of Appeal. Shortly before the election results were announced, 4 IEBC Commissioners disputed the vote count, siting a number of irregularities. On December 23, 2022, ACK Archbishop Jackson Ole Sapit said that the IEBC Chairperson Wafula Chebukati, invited him for prayers shortly before he announced the election results. What the Archbishop failed to reveal, was what Chebukati told him, that had prompted him to call for prayers, something that had not been done before by his predecessors, Chairmen of the IEBC.
On August 20, 1990, the late Minister Peter Okondo warned Bishop Alexander Kipsang Muge not to travel to Busia, else he would not return home alive, and surely, Bishop Muge never returned home alive after he left for Busia. The enemies of Bishop Muge took the advantage of Peter Okondo’s warning, to plan and to kill Muge. Going by the statement released by William Ruto on January 15, 2023, Wafula Chebukati and the former 4 Commissioners of the IEBC should be extremely careful about their lives. It is possible for the enemies of Chebukati and the other 5 IEBC Commissioners, to use William Ruto’s statement, as an excuse to eliminate them, in order to destroy any evidence that is likely to come out from the new scary developments in Kenya. The five, Wafula Chebukati and the 4 former Commissions of the IEBC, would be best placed as witnesses in the establishment of any irregularities from the 2022 elections, and the possibility of the IEBC commissioners being summoned by the East African Court of Appeal, can not be ruled out. Such new developments would not be pleasant to those responsible for the alleged 2022 election irregularities, and they would do their best to prevent the current and the former IEBC Commissioners, from testifying in any such proceedings that would expose any irregularities related to the 2022 elections, in the same way and in the same manner, the witnesses of the ICC case on Post Election Violence, were stopped and/or were prevented, from testifying at the ICC. Therefore, the Ruto Administration should provide utmost protection to the current and to the former IEBC Commissioners, who may likely be summoned to testify at the East African Court of Appeal case, already filed by Martha Karua and the Muslim for Human Rights (MUHURI).
