New Kenyan Community Radio Station,Ezra Christian Radio Launches in Billerica,Massachusetts

The Kenyan Community in Massachusetts and beyond has a has a new voice on its airwaves.

The station will be a mix of local music and news. Speaking to Rev.Mwaniki she had this to say “We’re really focused on education and providing the community with content that will fill in holes and gaps in information,””We also want community feedback about what they like and what they want to hear.”

Ezra Christian Radio objective is to positively respond to our Lords commission to reach the whole world with the Gospel of Christ its and extension of “itaha ria muoyo” Ministries

The non profit “itaha ria muoyo” Ministries is parenting the project. Pastor Naomi will ran and organize the programs in the station.

Ezra Christian Radio has Community programs such as “Gwatia Kimuri” a teaching program by Dr.Mwaniki and Mucii wina Maciaro by Dr.Githiga.

Local and international Pastors will be invited to preach and minister regularly and respond to peoples call in question and answer sessions.

Kenyan news will be read from 2pm and a brief roundup of politics followed by a prayer session that will also cover prayer requests sent over.

We also have 24/7 gospel music with live programs closing in 11Pm.

Ezra Christian Radio is expected to grow and even to incorporate a Tv Station.

Why Ezra Chriatian Radio? We chose Ezra because Ezra from the Bible lead a group of Jews from captivity to Jerusalem.Ezra was a priest and loved to study and teach the word of God.

The Church needs such leadership and more emphasis in teaching of Gods word.

“We feel like this is a way to bring the community into the project, which is what we’ve wanted to do the whole time,” she said. “It’s a community radio station, so we want the community to be involved.”
